But the rhetoric of our nation’s “greatness” entangles more than our democracy – it threads into our culture’s obsession with awards shows, high school class rank, staying late at work to prove that you’re worthy.

Join Third Space witches via Zoom on Wednesday, October 20th at 5:30p PT / 8:30p ET to experience our October magick in community. All are welcome as we gather to UNTIE THE KNOT of American Exceptionalism.
This unbinding ritual is designed to take the participant through an interrogation of their relationship to exceptionalism, both as an individual and as someone living in the United States of America. The ritual takes about 20 minutes and can be done more than once, should you find your knot of American exceptionalism resists unraveling.

TO PREPARE
All you will need for this ritual is:
A piece of rope, jute, or fabric between 1-2 ft long. Ideally you want something thick enough that if you tied a knot, you’d be able to grip it firmly between your fingers.
