A window for change has opened in America. Whether it remains for two years or two months, right now we have another chance for Reconstruction — for building back better. If we are to succeed, we cannot repeat the mistakes of the past.

Our February BREAK THE SPELL event is designed to help participants unenchant the myths of America and face our true selves in the mirror. Our collective action will create a safe container for uncloaking the illusions that bind us as we work to reconstruct a shared reality.

A mirror (ideally one you can place on a flat surface in front of you; if that’s not possible, a wall mirror will do) 

A candle (and a means to light it) 

Two towels
